On July 22-July 28, 9 members of our church: Brenda Elliott, Ray Elliott, Tommy Johnson, Jay Moore, Betty Schaub, John Tomey, Zac Tomey, Martha Watts, and Bro. Sammy Simmons went on a mission trip to New Orleans, Lousinna. Each member returned from this trip with a greater understanding of the awesomeness of God, a great understanding of the grace of God, and a new passion to share Christ with our neighbors. Our goal at Mt. Pisgah is to continue to be involved in missions worldwide both though our giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and to the Cooperative Program, through our praying for our missionaries, and through our going on numerous short-term missions trips. We hope to have more missions trips planned in the near future.
